Welcome to VeroCup

Reuse. Refresh. Recycle.

VeroCup is dedicated to providing the finest plastic reusable coffee cups, designed and manufactured in the UK.

Our reusable cups are not only environmentally friendly but also keep your coffee at the perfect temperature for longer.

The Coffee Cup Problem

In the UK, approximately 2.5 billion single-use coffee cups are discarded each year. This equates to roughly 7 million cups discarded daily or 5,000 per minute. (Source-National Trust)

Despite the high usage, less than 1% of these cups are recycled. This is because whilst being primarily made of paper, these cups are often lined with plastic, making them difficult to recycle.

An additional problem, because they look like ‘just paper’,- many people put them in recycling bins. While the cups themselves are problematic, the coffee residue left inside often contaminates the entire recycling bin. The whole bin must then be sent to the incinerator. (Source-East Sussex County Council)

The production of disposable coffee cups also has a significant carbon footprint. This is because manufacturing this quantity of cups requires vast amounts of water, energy, and raw materials. A single cup may seem insignificant, but the cumulative effect of billions of cups is a massive environmental burden. Ideal for the reuse cup market.

Our Product

Our vision is simple, and that is to help create a world free from unnecessary disposable waste.

VeroCup provides a sustainable, reusable cup system designed for convenience and impact. Made from Polypropylene, the cup has diagonal foamed bands, adding insulation to keep hot drinks hot, and cold drinks cold. This feature also makes the cup comfortable to hold.

VeroCups are designed for reuse – again, and again, and again. Dishwasher safe – even on the hottest dishwasher cycle. They drain easily and will not stick together -even if stacked while wet. Our unique design means more cups -smaller stack height, saving you valuable storage space.

Our first VeroCup (12oz) can be used with any existing 90mm lid. However, we have a concept design for our own revolutionary reusable lid -The ThuraLid – which has a resealable hinged “bung’ over the wide drinking aperture, making it comfortable on the lips and spill resistant when closed.

We aim to launch the ThuraLid, and a variety of cups over time in different sizes and designs, from 8oz - 24oz.

G4Foam Technology

VeroCup Limited (VCL) owns the G4Foam patent and is the exclusive licensing company for the technology.

In the injection-moulded container sector, flow channels are commonly used to reduce wall thickness. G4Foam advances this principle by incorporating a blowing agent that enables thicker channels to expand during mould opening, forming structural ribs inside and outside of the part.

These ribs can be added to almost any container geometry. Once expanded, they function as a scaffold structure that increases mechanical strength and improves material flow. Adding the ribs at an angle enhances top-load performance, hoop strength, and enables efficient inter-stacking.

Key Advantages of G4Foam

  • Reduced filling pressure

  • Improved core/cavity concentricity

  • Reduced lateral loads, improving tool life

  • Simple mould design and construction

  • Lower cost tooling

  • Increased top-load strength

  • Increased hoop strength

  • No effect on stacking capability

  • Reduction in wall section

  • Lower overall part weight

  • Reduced cycle time

  • Thermal insulation for hot-fill applications

Does G4Foam Scale?

Absolutely. G4Foam is a highly scalable solution, suitable for applications ranging from small consumer cups to large industrial pails, while maintaining strength, stackability, and material efficiency. Moulds of up to 12 cavities enable very high production outputs.

Why Choose G4Foam?

  • Reduced material usage and weight

  • High structural performance

  • Fast cycle times

  • Excellent scalability

  • Compatible with a wide range of container designs
